My Philosophy

Making healthy lifestyle choices the default isn’t always easy, but is exactly what is needed to feel and perform our best each day. Self-care is the superpower that transforms our lives from broken to thriving, not overnight or with a quick fix, but gradually, one step at a time. We have enormous capacity to prevent and reverse disease, and alleviate common health problems by moving more, eating a whole food diet, managing our stress, avoiding environmental toxins, and getting sufficient sleep. Lifestyle Medicine is an evidenced based, holistic approach to wellness that uses prescriptive healthy behaviors to achieve optimal well-being. Unlike with traditional health care, this approach doesn’t rely on pharmaceutical management or costly interventions that only delay or abate symptoms without addressing the root causes. Instead, Lifestyle Medicine focuses on behavior and mindset adaptation to break the cycle of disease and disability negatively impacting our lives, and the lives of those around us. We hold the keys to living fully and thriving! So let’s get started, shall we?

WHAT I DO

From small company retreats to designing employee wellness programs, I create beautiful and successful events of all shapes and sizes that foster community and inspire positive change. Futurewell Summit 2019 was a conference convening 350 attendees and over fifty nationally recognized thought leaders focused on the intersection of human and planetary health. From concept to execution, I manage every detail to manifest a memorable event with lasting impact.
